In her past life, Madison Cooper naively trusted scholar Harold Yates, endlessly catering to him and his daughter Jolene Yates while neglecting her own daughter, Serena Cooper. Jolene crippled Serena, leading to her amputation, just to steal a dance opportunity. In old age, Madison was sealed alive in a tomb by the Yates family, dying in anguish after her daughter severed ties. Reborn, she abandons her mistaken fate. Relying on her sewing skills and past-life knowledge, she cherishes and protects her daughter, eventually finding love with a successful farmer. Together, they build a good life, finally making the Yates father and daughter pay for their crimes.
