Reborn on the day of his wedding, Landon refuses Serena's family's last-minute demand for a higher bride price and tears up the engagement on the spot. Armed with memories from his past life, he builds his fortune from the ground up, starting with stir-fried eel and trading vegetables. Along the way, he rescues Vivian from those sent to harass her, and the two slowly fall for each other. As Serena and Blake repeatedly scheme against him, Landon outplays them at every turn, joining forces with friends and family to overcome each crisis. With his talent and determination, he secures control of the county's food factory, his business soaring to new heights. In the end, he and Vivian find their way to true love and step into a brand-new life together.
