Vincent Lin and Serena Liu have been married for many years. Throughout their marriage, Vincent has been endlessly caring and protective of his wife, devoting himself to her without reservation. However, his devotion is never returned. Instead, it only fuels Serena’s arrogance and growing dominance, gradually pushing their relationship into a deeply imbalanced and unhealthy state. Everything changes on that day, when Serena goes so far as to force Vincent to drink her foot-washing water. In that moment, the distorted nature of their marriage is laid bare, and all the long-suppressed resentment and conflict finally erupt. What once appeared to be a loving marriage collapses, marking the beginning of an irreversible breakdown.
