While covering for her friend Joey, Clare saved billionaire Carson. A one-night stand left her pregnant with twins. Carson's mother bribed the staff, stole the boy, and left the sick girl, Abby. Clare raised Abby alone and studied abroad. She later joined Carson's firm, met her son, and a DNA test proved her motherhood. She learned Joey had taken her place as Carson's savior and fiancée. With her children's help, Clare exposed Joey at a company gala, reuniting the family. Carson arranged Abby's treatment and planned their wedding. Clare declined to be a housewife, reformed the company as an employee, and built a career and happy home.
