Emperor Zhao Tiancheng of Great Chu lost his memory after falling from a cliff during a hunt. He was saved by a peasant girl, Su Qianxue. The two married and had twins, living a blissful life. Six years later, he returned to the palace and ascended the throne but forgot his past. His wife and children were reduced to slaves in the Prime Minister's manor, where they suffered abuse. The Emperor saw them while offering birthday wishes, triggering his memory. He then fiercely protected his family and vowed to make up for all he had neglected.
