On the day of his engagement, Benedict caught his fiancée Cordelia's mother, Isolde, in an affair with her childhood friend Aldric. After being falsely accused by them, Benedict was killed in a car accident. Reborn back to the day of his engagement, he set up a live-streamed trap, using an aphrodisiac to expose the two and publicly reveal their affair video before a shocked audience. As Benedict dug deeper into the truth, he uncovered a conspiracy by Aldric and his father to seize the Gu family's assets: they had colluded with Isolde to poison Cordelia's father over a long period and siphon off the family's wealth. In the end, Aldric and his father were sent to prison, Isolde was left with nothing, and the Gu family business was restored. Three years later, Benedict attended a class reunion with his new wife. Facing a remorseful Cordelia, he smiled calmly and walked into a brand-new life.
