The Wei family has been plagued by a series of disasters in the past two years. Before his death, Old Master Wei made a pact with Jiang Lin, asking him to protect the Wei family. On the hundredth-day memorial ceremony for the old master, Jiang Lin came to the door but was mistaken for a blind beggar trying to swindle. He was even forced by the family members to offer incense to the old master, which Jiang Lin agreed to with a smile. Because once this incense was offered, the pact would be nullified, and the entire Wei family would be doomed.
