After her rebirth, Abby exchanged marriages with her sister Bella, who chose the seemingly promising but poor Eric, while Abby was forced to marry General Shawn. In her previous life, Eric had killed Abby, but armed with her memories from that life, she turned the tables, rescued Shawn on the battlefield, and exposed Eric's true nature. Together, they thwarted a coup, leading Abby to genuinely fall in love with Shawn. Meanwhile, Bella sought to climb the social ladder but ended up with her husband being castrated and her mother-in-law dying tragically.
