Oliva Doyle transmigrated to ancient times, becoming the disgraced legitimate daughter of the Doyle family—who shared her name. Upon waking up, she was poisoned with the needles by maidservants and pushed off a cliff. She fell into a pool beneath the cliffs, where Noah Goodwin happened to be healing his injuries. Oliva Doyle clung to him tightly, forcing him to save her. Noah Goodwin removed the poisoned needle from her back, while Oliva helped detoxify his wounds. Just as she was about to leave, assassins suddenly appeared. Using her own blood, Oliva Doyle killed the assassins, saving Noah Goodwin once again. Their first encounter sparked a growing ambiguity between them.
