Benedict, a disciple of Mount Cloud, descended the mountain intending to end his engagement to Arabella, CEO of the Su Group. He deliberately feigned arrogance to pressure her into voiding the marriage contract, only to be demanded by her father to win her back. Staying by Arabella's side, he repeatedly protected her from danger and used his pure internal energy to alleviate the suffering caused by her Dark Ice Body—gaining allies from his sect and a celebrity's admiration along the way. At the Cloud Summit Manor banquet, he revealed his identity as the Son of the Divine King, quelled the rebellion among the Four Great Families, and ultimately confirmed his bond with Arabella, embarking on a new life.
