John Light is sent down the mountain to find his fiancée in a marriage arrangement made long ago. To achieve his objective, he decides to work as a bodyguard and accidentally gets involved with two women who compete for his affection. He must use his hidden skills to navigate the treacherous waters of high society and family politics while pursuing his objective.
